Overview
Benzene and C-9 aromatics alkyl transfer catalyst and its process technology (BAT using benzene and C-9 and above aromatics as raw materials to produce toluene and C-8 aromatics by alky transfer reaction is an important means to optimize and adjust the structure of aromatics products, in the case of oversupply of benzene products orlow market price, benzene, and C9 aromatic alkyl transfer technology is used to convert benzene into xylene with high added value and toluene with high market demand. In addition, BAT technology can be further combined with toluene shape selective disproportionation technology (S.STDP) or toluene methanol methylation technology (s-MTX). Toluene generated by the BAT unit is used as raw material to produce xylene in the S.STDP or S-TX unit. In contrast, benzene generated by the SSTDP unit is used as raw material to supply the BAT unit, The BATSTDP Or BAT-MTX process combination can maximize the production of C-8 aromatics products. which are high-quality raw materials for the production of PX.
BAT Catalyst
The main brand of benzene and carbon-nine aromatic alkyl transfer is BAT100, and the main technical characteristics are as follows:
◆ Wide range of raw material applications: raw material benzene /C, *A is 0/10050/50wt%, the feed ratio can be adjusted according to the product demand.
◆ High activity: Under WHSV≤4h', H/HC≥2 (mol/mol) conditions, the total conversion rate of 50wt%.
◆ High selectivity: In the benzene / A =50/50 (wt) raw material composition, the total selectivity of toluene and C-8 aromatic hydrocarbons generated ≥90wt%.
◆ Low ethylbenzene content: has excellent dealkylation function, the product EB/C8A <2%, suitable for producing high-quality xylene.
BAT-STDP Combined Technology
The alkyl transfer technology of benzene and C9 aromatic hydrocarbons can be combined with toluene shape disproportionation technology or toluene methylation technology to form an efficient and energy-saving combination process, which can optimize the product structure of aromatic equipment and realize the goal of short process capacity expansion, especially for the upgrade of existing aromatic equipment.
Promotion and Application
BAT unit technology and BAT-STDP combined process technology have been used in the industrial application of Sinopec Tianjin Company. and the paraxylene concentration in the product after the process combination is ≥ 50%, which is conducive to the low-cost expansion PX adsorption separation unit.
