Overview
Polymer microspheres are widely used in profile controlling and channeling. However, there are some problems such as poor controllability and low plugging strength.
To solve the above problems, a kind of slow-release core-shell structure yin-yang composite flexible polymer microsphere was developed, to realize a new type of profile control and self-adaptive sealing polymer microsphere.
It has obtained more than 10 invention patents authorized by China and won the second prize for the SinopecTechnology invention in 2017.

◆ The initial migration capacity is strong, and the electronegative shell gives it low adsorption characteristics;

In June 2015, the low-tension microsphere system was injected into Wen 25 East of Zhongyuan Oilfield. There were 8 corresponding Wells and 8 effective Wells in the test area, and the water cut was reduced from 98% to 96.5%. The natural decline decreased by 6.82% and the recovery efficiency increased 2.75%.
In April 2020, it began to be applied in the Pudong production plant of Zhongyuan Oilfield and Wenliu production plant successively.
