Cracked gasoline is the liquid by-product of naphtha and gas oil produced by steam cracking to ethylene, and the liquid with a dry point of 205℃ is fractionated, which is about 50-80% of ethylene production.

Cracked gasoline is the liquid by-product of naphtha and gas oil produced by steam cracking to ethylene, and the liquid with a dry point of 205℃ is fractionated, which is about 50-80% of ethylene production. The diolefin and conjugated aromatic hydrocarbons were removed by selective hydrogenation in the first stage, and then saturated withmonolefins and removed impurities such as sulfur, nitrogen and oxygen in the second stage, and then aromatic hydrocarbons were extracted by solvent extraction. As the main source of aromatics, cracked gasoline contributes more than 40% of the world's aromatics. Since 2001, Shanghai Institute has successfully developed SHP-01, SHP.01F, SHS-01-stage hydrogenation Pd/Al20, catalyst and SHN-01, SHN-01F stage hydrogenation Ni/Al203 catalyst and realized industrial application.

The project has applied for 32 domestic and intervention patents authorized 27 patents, and won the 1first prize in Shanghai Science and Technology Progress, 2second prize in Sinopec Science and Technology Progress, 2third prize for Sinopec Technology invention, and 1 ChinaPatent Excellence Award.

SHP-01 series palladium-based catalysts have a low content of active components, good resistance to water, colloid and toxic interference, high space speed, low-temperature diene hydrogenation activity, high selectivity, good stability, and other characteristics, and their comprehensive performance has reached the international advanced level.

◆ The water resistance/qum resistance is increased by more than 1 time, and the starting temperature is reduced by 5-10℃ compared with the same period last year.

SHN-01 series nickel-based catalysts have suitable pore structure and acid properties, high dispersion of active components, good activity selectivity, excellent impurity resistance and comprehensive performance has reached the international advanced level.

◆ Excellent energy saving: can cancel the second stage heating furnace, saving the steam cost of the second stage 3 million to 4 million/year (400,000 tons/year device)

 

Energy-saving SHS-01 PD-based catalyst

 

◆ Energy-saving features: improve the selectivity of a reverse, cancel the two-stage heating furnace, and completely solve the dispersed emission of pollutants such as NOx.

◆ It is estimated that the self-thermal equilibrium can be satisfied if the selectivity of the catalyst is increased and the temperature rise of the second reaction is >40℃.

 

Popularization and Application

 

Since the first industrial application of SHP-01 catalyst in the cracking gasoline hydrogenation unit in May 2003, it has been successfully applied to more than 10 sets of domestic industrial units, achieving "stable and excellent" operation, and strongly supporting the cost reduction and efficiency increase of the unit and technical progress.
