Description

 

1. SSZ-13 molecular sieve is a type of molecular sieve with a cha topological structure. It is composed of AlO4 and SiO4 tetrahedra connected by oxygen atoms, forming an elliptical cage with an eight membered ring structure and a three-dimensional cross pore structure. The pore size is 0.38nm × 0.38nm is a small pore molecular sieve. SSZ-13 molecular sieve is mainly used in the fields of removing NOx from automotive exhaust, methanol to low-carbon olefins (MTO), and gas separation adsorption, and it has shown good performance.

2. Currently, the templates used for synthesizing ssz-13 molecular sieve are n, n, n, - trimethyl-1-adamantylammonium hydroxide cation, benzyltrimethylammonium hydroxide cation, or hydroxide-n, n-dimethyl-3,5-dimethylpyridine. However, these three templates are expensive and require approximately 1.2-2.4 tons of the aforementioned templates to produce one ton of ssz-13 molecular sieve. There are very few domestic manufacturers that can industrially produce them, resulting in high costs for synthesizing ssz-13 molecular sieve, Seriously limiting its industrial production.

3. The existing technology publicly uses choline chloride or other template agents to synthesize ssz-13 molecular sieve, but choline chloride is unstable under alkaline conditions and easily decomposes into trimethylamine, ethylene glycol, etc. at crystallization temperature, resulting in defects in the final ssz-13 molecular sieve. This leads to high consumption of template agents and extremely low production rates, and extremely high product rejection rates, thus limiting its prospects.

4. Therefore, the reaction cycle of SSZ-13 molecular sieve is long, the yield is relatively low, and the key raw material template agent is used in large quantities and expensive. There is also no mass production in China, so the production cost of SSZ-13 molecular sieve remains high.
