Overview
Acrylonitrile is one of the main raw materials of synthetic fiber. synthetic resin, synthetic rubber, and organic synthesis industry, and production capacity exceeds 2.2 million tons/year, ranking first in the world. The main process of industrial product tlon of acrylonitrile is propylene ammoxidation, that is, propylene, ammonia, and air under the action of a catalyst, acrylonitrile, acetonitrile, and hydrocyanic acid Since the 1960s, Shanghal institute has conducted comprehensive research on propylene ammoxidation to acrylonitrile technology and has developed MB and SANCseries catalysts. Based on the above catalyst, the acrylonitrile packagetechnolo ($-ANT)was successfully developed.
The project has obtained more than 230 authorized invention patents at home and abroad and has won 14 national and provincial science and technology progress and technological invention awards including 1 first prize in National science and technology Progress, 2 second prize of National science and technology progress, 1 Gold medal of China patent, 5 first prize of provincial and ministerial science and technology progress, and 2 gold awards of invention.
S-ANT Acrylonitrile Technology
S-ANT acrylonitrile technology research and development began in the 1960s, the new generation of complete sets of technology to green energy saving as the goal, complete sets of technology material consumption and other technical indicators to reach the international advanced level. Its technical characteristics are as follows:
♦ Low material consumption: propylene material consumption is as low as 1.020tons/ton of acrylonitrile.
♦ Low energy consumption: comprehensive energy consumption of about 86 kg standard oil/ton acrylonitrile.
♦ Key technical equipment: Developed large fluidized bed reactor, quench tower, and other equipment.
♦ Advanced process technology: developed refining recovery technology, composite extraction separatlon technology, negative pressure decyanatlontechnology, online plugging technology, improved acrylonit rile refining recovery technology, ammonium sulfide free technology, wet oxidation technology.

SANC series acrylonitrile catalysts are currently mainly promoted by SANC-08, SANC-11, and SANC-11+, and the characteristics of the main products are shown in the following table.

Popularization and Application
S-ANT acrylonitrile technology has been licensed to build a number of acrylonitrile units in recent years, including 130,000 tons/year 260,000 tons/year 400,000 tons/year units. SANC series catalysts have been widely used in more than ten sets of reactors in China, and the comprehensive performance of the catalysts has reached the international advanced level.
