Overview
Heavy and light aromatic hydrocarbons are produced by dealkylation and alkyl transfer reactions using carbon-9 and above aromatic hydrocarbons as raw materials. The S-HAPheavy aromatics lightweight process developed by ShanghaiInstitute uses C and heavy aromatics as raw materials to generate BTX and by-produce C2-C3 alkanes through the lightweight reaction, in which benzene and toluene can be extracted according to demand, or recycled to maximize the production of C-8 aromatics. The technology can transform the C, heavy aromatic components in catalytic reforming oil into mixed xylene and olefin cracking raw materials, which meets the requirements of oil quality upgrading and product structure adjustment and helps petrochemical enterprises to realize oil-chemical integration transformation.
The S-HAP heavy aromatics lightweight technology developed by the Shanghai Institute has independent intellectual property rights and has obtained more than 10 authorized invention patents in China.
S-HAP heavy aromatics light technology
S-HAP heavy aromatic lightening technology is used to produce xylene from C and heavy aromatic hydrocarbons informed oil through the process of dealkylation and alkyl transfer. The technology uses HAP heavy aromatic light catalyst, and its technical characteristics are as follows:
◆ Operation flexibility: Raw material composition and product the structure can be adjusted, benzene and toluene can be used as product output, but also as raw material circulation.
◆ Product diversity: High-quality xylene and high-quality olefin cracker are produced by using C and heavy aromatics in reformed oil as raw materials, and the structure of refinery oil, aromatics and olefin are optimized.
◆ High reaction efficiency: One-way conversion rate of heavy aromatics >55wt%, selectivity of xylene >80wt%, FB/ C.AS5% in the product.
Heavy aromatics light catalyst
The heavy aromatics light catalyst is an HAP series catalyst, the main features of the product are as follows:
◆ High activity: WHSV<4h-', H/HC>2 (mol/mol) conditions, C, A one-way conversion rate >55wt%.
◆ High selectivity: the light products of heavy aromatics are BTX and C2C3 alkanes, while the main products of benzene and toluene are xylene after self-cycling; The selectivity of xylene was determined by the composition of raw material, and the selectivity of xylene in reforming heavy aromatic material was >80wt%.
◆ High stability: the catalyst life is >4 years when dealing with reforming heavy aromatic raw materials, and the reaction performance is stable during operation.
◆ Low hydrogen consumption: Based on reforming heavy aromatic raw materials, hydrogen consumption <4kg hydrogen ton feed.
Popularization and Application
In 2016, the HAP catalyst was applied in a 1 million tons/year industrial plant overseas, the plant ran stably, and the catalyst activity and selectivity were good.
In 2021, the first domestic heavy aromatic light industrial plant using S-HAP technology will be completed and put into operation.
