Description
SSZ-39 molecular sieve is a type of molecular sieve with an AEI topological structure. It is composed of AlO4 and SiO4 tetrahedra connected by oxygen atoms, forming a secondary structural unit (SBU) of double hexagonal rings. The adjacent double hexagonal rings rotate 180° around the z-axis and are arranged in a cross distribution. The double hexagonal rings are connected and arranged through a four membered ring to form an AEI cage with an eight membered ring structure (asymmetric pear shaped cage) and a three-dimensional pore structure, The pore size of SSZ-39 molecular sieve is due to its ordered pore structure, high specific surface area, good hydrothermal stability, abundant surface proton acidic centers, and excellent cation exchangeability.
Applications
In recent years, SSZ-39 has shown excellent performance in industrial catalytic processes such as selective catalytic reduction reactions and methanol to olefin catalytic reactions (MTO).
