According to the process characteristics of upper flow residual oil hydrogenation, petrochemical Research Institute of Sinopec developed a suitable for upper flow reactor Gear spherical upper flow slag oil hydrogenation treatment catalyst. Upper flow residue hydrogenation catalysts include RG series protection catalysts and RUF series defalalization catalyst, has been developed to the fourth generation, mainly catalytic IJ including RG-30E-8b, Protective catalysts such as RG-30A-5b, RG-30A-3.5b, RUF-31, RUF-32, RUF-33, etc. Demetallic catalysts such as RUF-31S, RUF-32S, RUF-33S, and RUF-31-5b.

 

Technical characteristics & technical indicators

 

⑴ The catalyst has good demetalation activity, metal tolerance and wear resistance, which is conducive to the long-term stable operation of the upper flow reactor.

⑵ The catalyst has good asphaltene conversion ability and high hydrogenation and demmetal selectivity, which improves the high quality raw materials for the downstream fixed bed catalyst and avoids the generation of hot spots in the upper flow reactor.
