Introduction to catalyst carrier

The catalyst carrier, also known as the support, is one of the components of the supported catalyst. It is the skeleton of the active components of the catalyst, supports the active components, disperses the active components, and can also increase the strength of the catalyst. However, the carrier itself generally does not have catalytic activity.
