1. Natural zeolite: Natural zeolite refers to zeolite formed in nature. It is usually generated from volcanic rocks or volcanic ash after long-term hydrolysis, exchange, crystallization and other processes. There are many types of natural zeolites, about 50 of which are currently known, the most common of which are clinoptilolite, analcime, chabazite, sodium zeolite, etc. Natural zeolite is mainly used in agriculture, environmental protection, construction and other fields.
2. Synthetic zeolite: Synthetic zeolite refers to zeolite artificially manufactured in a laboratory or factory. It is usually made from silicates, aluminates, alkali metal salts and other raw materials through dissolution, crystallization, drying and other processes. There are more types of synthetic zeolites, about 200 of which are currently known, among which the most common ones are type A zeolite, type X zeolite, type Y zeolite, ZSM-5 type zeolite, etc. Synthetic zeolites are mainly used in petroleum, chemical industry, medicine and other fields.
