Adsorbents and desiccants.
Catalyst.
Detergent.
Other uses (sewage treatment, soil conditioner, feed additive).
Natural zeolite is an emerging material that is widely used in industry, agriculture, defense and other sectors, and its uses are constantly being developed. Zeolites are used as ion exchangers, adsorption separation agents, desiccants, catalysts, and cement mixing materials. In the petroleum and chemical industries, it is used as catalytic cracking, hydrocracking in petroleum refining and chemical isomerization, reforming, alkylation and disproportionation of petroleum; gas and liquid purification, separation and storage agents; hard water softening and seawater desalination. Agent; special desiccant (dry air, nitrogen, hydrocarbons, etc.). In the light industry, it is used in papermaking, synthetic rubber, plastics, resins, coating fillers and quality colors. It is used as adsorption separation agent and desiccant in national defense, space technology, ultra-vacuum technology, energy development, electronic industry, etc. In the building materials industry, it is used as cement hydraulic active admixture, firing artificial lightweight aggregate, and making lightweight high-strength plates and bricks. Used as a soil conditioner in agriculture, it can protect fertilizer, water, and prevent pests and diseases. In the poultry and livestock industry, it is used as an additive and deodorant for feed (pigs, chickens), etc., which can promote the growth of livestock and improve the survival rate of chicks. In terms of environmental protection, it is used to treat waste gas and waste water, remove or recover metal ions from waste water and liquid, and remove radioactive pollutants from waste water.
In medicine, zeolite is used to measure the amount of nitrogen in blood and urine. Zeolite has also been developed as a health product for anti-aging and removing heavy metals accumulated in the body.
In production, zeolite is often used in the refining of sugar.
Raw materials for new wall materials (aerated concrete blocks).
As solid clay bricks gradually withdraw from the stage, the application proportion of new wall materials has now reached 80%. Wall material manufacturers use coal gangue, fly ash, ceramsite, slag, light industrial waste, heavy construction waste, zeolite, etc. As the main material, we actively develop new wall materials.
It is often used to prevent bumping in chemical distillation or heating experiments. This is because there are a large number of small pores in the structure of zeolite, which can serve as condensation nuclei for bubbles, allowing the reaction liquid to boil smoothly. Bisque-fired porcelain pieces broken to the size of rice grains can be used instead.
