Spherical alumina support have advantages such as high rolling, high bulk density, and low wear, and are widely used in fixed bed and fluidized bed processes in chemical production.

At present, there are many preparation methods for spherical gamma alumina: rolling method, hot oil column forming method, oil column forming method, and spray dispersing method. The above four preparation methods for spherical alumina have stable production process, simple operation, good product properties, and are more suitable for industrial amplification and production automation.

Spherical alumina support is white spherical particles, non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, insoluble in water and ethanol.

Applications

Spherical alumina support is used as a covering proppant and adsorbent material for the catalyst in the reactor. Its main function is to increase the gas or liquid distribution points and support and protect the active catalyst with low strength. It has the characteristics of high purity, good heat resistance and mechanical shock resistance, and stable chemical properties. It is widely used in petrochemical, natural gas, coal chemical industries and other industries.
