Boehmite is a precursor of γ-Al2O3. Application
Boehmite is mainly used as a coating for lithium battery cell membranes and electrodes. Its coating on the lithium battery cell membrane can increase the heat resistance of the membrane and increase the puncture resistance of the membrane, thereby enhancing the safety performance of lithium batteries. Bauxite coated inside the lithium battery electrode can avoid the burrs produced during the cutting process of the positive electrode material electrode piercing the membrane, improve the safety performance of lithium batteries, improve the battery production process, and increase the energy density.
