Product description and characteristic
Super Fine Aluminum Hydroxide for Filler is made from high-purity sodium aluminate solution and is produced using a precipitation method to generate ultra-fine aluminum hydroxide powder. It has the characteristics of small particle size, good crystal shape, high whiteness, high chemical purity, narrow particle size distribution, and low conductivity. As an environmentally friendly flame retardant filler, fine aluminum hydroxide powder is widely used in low-smoke, halogen-free cables, silicone rubber, lithium battery separators, foam insulation materials, paper fillers, thermoplastic PVC, etc.
Product Application
It is used as material for insulation layer and protective layer in cables and is suitable for different voltages. It is used in thermoplastic PVC products to provide flame retardancy and suppress smoke generation. It is used as a coating material for lithium battery separators, providing heat resistance, high temperature resistance, and insulation. It improves the leakage resistance and erosion resistance of silicone rubber. It has good compatibility with whitening agents, good ink absorption, and can improve the whiteness, opacity, smoothness, and ink absorption of coated paper. It can be used in the production of thermal paper, magazine paper, banknote paper, photographic paper, and high-end dictionary paper. It is used for flame retardance and consistent pore size in foam materials.

Flame retardant mechanism
At temperatures ranging from 200-350℃, it undergoes endothermic dehydration to suppress the temperature rise of polymers. After dehydration, Al(OH)3 generates a protective Al₂O₃ film on the surface of combustible materials, isolating oxygen and preventing further combustion. When filled with Al(OH)3 in organic polymers such as rubber, plastic, and resin, the concentration of flammable substances in composite materials decreases. Additionally, the release of water vapor from the decomposition of Al(OH)3 under heat dilutes the concentration of flammable gases and oxygen, effectively slowing down or preventing combustion. The aluminum hydroxide flame retardant generates strongly dehydrating substances (transitional aluminum oxide) under combustion conditions, causing plastic to carbonize without producing combustible volatiles, thereby halting the spread of flames.

Product Description
Surface-treated microfine alumina can render the surface hydrophobic, enhance compatibility between microfine alumina and polymers, improve dispersibility, lower melt viscosity, and enhance the processing performance of filled polymers.
Product characteristic
Surface Treated Super Fine Aluminum Hydroxide exhibits improved dimensional stability at high temperatures, with sufficient mechanical strength. The maximum filling rate for microfine alumina is 65%, while also providing efficient flame-retardant properties, good melt processing performance, and physical properties. It demonstrates excellent wet electrical properties (low loss) in white filled rubber. It also shows superior chemical resistance, enhancing production rate and reducing the production of carbonization. The use of a single product makes it very convenient.
